Quality of Marking

ISO Standards do not provide rules for the quality of marking.

To the extent possible, it is recommended to select markings that will last for the life of the container and ideally use plastic film. Specific recommendations can be found in part XV of the Customs Convention on Containers, 1972, updated February 2017.
