All "U" codes must be registered with B.I.C. in order to :
- protect code uniqueness globally according to international ISO Standards (ISO 6346),
- benefit from unimpedimented tax free and customs sealed movements according to World Customs Organization's CCC (Customs Convention on Containers),
Please check here for more information and contact us without delay to learn more about the registration process.

Registration of a container operator's prefix with the BIC is a requirement under ISO-6346 and international customs conventions. However, registration of a prefix does not indicate an endorsement of an operator by the BIC. The BIC does not monitor code-holders or their activities nor confirm the existence of containers claimed to be owned, operated or managed by code-holders.
